Building on the Master's Program in Cosmopolitics, Arts and Ancestral Technologies (currently under creation), which emerges from a sustained collaboration between the Autonomous Intercultural Indigenous University (UAIIN–CRIC) and Université Paris 8, articulated by the collective nomasmetaforas between 2020 and 2026, the program seeks to establish itself as an intercultural, international, and multidisciplinary space for learning. Grounded in the dialogue between Indigenous knowledge systems and contemporary artistic practices, it aims to foster a structural conversation between artistic research-creation and the methodologies developed by Indigenous communities, extending beyond conventional models of academic research. The objective is to launch the first public call for applications and inaugurate the Master's program in 2027.

The Master's program is grounded in an expanded understanding of both art and knowledge. While it is presented as a program related to the arts, it rejects a narrowly disciplinary conception of artistic practice and instead proposes a genuinely multidisciplinary perspective. Within this framework, traditional medicine, education, Indigenous languages, spirituality, vernacular architecture, organizational processes, and community-based practices are recognized as legitimate forms of creative practice and knowledge production alongside contemporary artistic research.

The temporal structure of the Master's program will draw upon UAIIN–CRIC's organizational experience by aligning its activities with the lunar and solar calendar as territorial cycles. Based on this framework, the academic year will be organized into four three-month cycles: from December 21 to March 21, March 21 to June 21, June 21 to September 21, and September 21 to December 21. The curriculum will be built upon the convergence of the different academic programs offered by UAIIN–CRIC and the Master's Program in Arts and Humanities at Université Paris 8. Each cycle will include the participation of artists, philosophers, community leaders, and invited practitioners from diverse fields, alongside the involvement of a partner institution that will collaborate in the development of each specific cycle.
