In 2024, the Escuela Itinerante de Artes Plásticas y Visuales (EIAPV) Cauca brought together thirteen collectives across Centro, Wampia, South and Macizo, creating territory-based, collaborative art practices that wove ancestral knowledge, contemporary visual arts, and territorial care. Structured in three phases—strengthening local practices, fostering inter-collective dialogue, and sharing experiences in communal gatherings—the school treated the land itself as classroom and emphasized listening, care, and collective creation. The methodology was shaped by Eider Yangana, with nomasmetaforas as local pairs, coordinated by Yolanda Chois, and led by Alejandra Sarria of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Wisdoms.
